September 19th, 2015 - The Stash

I guess I’ve been absent for a while.  Well, here I am, back from who knows where. Have you ever been there? I seem to have been stuck there for a long time. But I have accomplished a thing or two while I was there. Besides buying fabric, I’ve made some comfort quilts, worked on some hand stitching and made 6 pillowcases.

Oh yeah, and I opened an Etsy store. I need to sell a few quilts. You can see it here TheQuiltingJunkie. It’s just a few quilts for now but I have more to add as I get organized.

And in the stash department, I keep adding fabric. A few bits and pieces that I liked but mostly bolts of white and black that were on sale and I “needed”. Right! I also bought some Tim Holtz fabric that I’m going to try to Modge Podge on a featherweight case that’s in rough shape.

Now for those dreaded numbers.

Fabric used since the last time and year to date: 137.32 yds

Fabric added since the last time and year to date: 167.76 yds

Net fabric busted: -30.44 yds

One day I’ll get that down to a zero.

Welcome back! A couple of quilts should get you back to even.

Welcome back! And hey, you probably did need those bolts of white and black! I know it seems like I’m always needing white fabric! 🙂 Love the quilts you posted in your store, too! Hope you get some buyers real fast!
