April 13th, 2014 - The Stash
Hey, I’m back. Still very busy but I’ve been able to quilt a little bit. Or should I say, use up some of this stash. No pictures as I’ve made these quilts before, nothing new. I finished a Simply Squares, maybe 2 and cut up some stuff for the blocks around the Winter Wonderland stitchery project that I’m trying to finish. Oh and my Black Friday flannel arrived and that really brought my numbers down. It will go fast as I bought it for backings of comfort quilts and I have a pile waiting for backs. Once I get it all washed up then I will see a real reduction in my stash. Now for some numbers.
Fabric used this week: 16.33 yds
Fabric used YTD: 45.39 yds
Fabric added this week: 38.23 yds
Fabric added YTD: 38.23 yds
Net fabric busted: 7.16 yds
I also went to the local quilt shop to get a piece of fabric to finish a couple of baby quilts. Made them before so no pictures. Boring, I know! Anyway, all is good and I plan on finishing some quilts this week so maybe next week you’ll hear from me again. Have a great day and enjoy this beautiful spring weather. Finally!
