Here I am again. Three weeks in a row. New records are being set!
Anyway, I actually bought some fabric and I’m not happy about it at all. First off, I used a $25.- gift card and secondly, the fabric didn’t even match! I was so irritated by my choice I couldn’t believe it. I was trying to match up a red for a border on a quilt. I even took the top to the store and put all these reds up against it. I thought I had the right red and I was thinking of even taking it over to the window, just to be sure. Then I totally forgot to do it. I bought the rest of the bolt (3.12 yds) and then I went home. Once I laid it out at home, I could tell right away that it was the wrong red. Needless to say, I found a red in my stash that I must have missed and I’m sure I’ll be able to use that other red in the future.
On a better note, I made 5 quilt backs and that made up for the red. Here are my numbers.
Fabric used this week: 16.75 yds
Fabric used YTD: 70.96 yds
Fabric added this week : 3.12 yds
Fabric added YTD: 41.35 yds
Net fabric busted: 29.61 yds
This is going to be a very busy week. I have take my brother to London twice this week and maybe watch my grandson a day or two. That doesn’t leave much time to do anything. Oh well, there’s always the week after. I hope everyone has a great week.

I know it sounds silly but “Taking my brother to London” sounds so exotic to me! Always fun to be able to report double digits out. Enjoy your time with your family this week.
