April 24th, 2011 - The Stash

Once again, the call of beautiful fabric has spoken. But my husband liked it so I just had to get it. Good reason to have him around when I visit a quilt shop. We went to Kitchener and there’s this little quilt shop, Creative Sisters Quilt Shop, and I made a few purchases. No pictures because I loaned my camera to my son. I bought some Stonehenge and Dr Seuss fabrics. I already made a baby quilt out of the Dr Seuss stuff and maybe this week I’ll get the other top completed. So here goes this report.

Fabric used this week: 15.46 yds

Fabric used YTD: 62.35 yds

Fabric purchased this week: 7.35 yds

Fabric purchased YTD: 76.38 yds

Net fabric busted: -14.03 yds

 I started the blocks for around the stichery “Over the River and Through the Woods”. I should have the top completed this week.

    I can’t take my husband fabric shopping-I always purchase way more with him along…lol!

    I’m kind of addicted to the Dr. Suess fabrics too. I picked up a fat quarter bundle after I made 3 quilts. Just so hard to resist.
