February 1st, 2008 - My Quilting Space

I have a large space to quilt in and I find that I am taking space from other rooms for storage of things that I don’t use all the time, such as extra batting. I wish that I knew that I was going to be a quilt junkie when I designed this room. Things would have been a little different.

Stash Drawers

This is a bookcase from Ikea that I bought the drawers for and I have baskets on the bottom shelves full of more fabric.

My Husqvarna Viking Lily 555 Sewing Machine

I love my machine but I would really like to get a long-arm machine also.

More Storage

Here is more stash storage that just never seems to be enough. I actually had it all neat and tidy until more fabric appeared and there just isn’t anywhere to put it. It seems to pile up.

    Oh I love how you have all your fabric in the drawers organized by color it seems. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love to see pictures of crafts/organization (or lack thereof). 🙂
