July 10th, 2011 - The Stash

 I know, I know this is supposed to be a weekly report. But I just can’t report when there’s nothing going on. I’ve read everyone’s reports and they’ve been busy because it’s so hot out. Do you think that’s my case? Not! I find when it’s hot out, I do less sewing. I just sit outside and read in the shade of our gazebo. It’s 90 plus out there every day and I am sitting there reading when I could be in the cool basement sewing. Am I nuts? Do I need my head examined? I think so! Anyway here is my report.

Fabric used this week: 7.83 yds

Fabric used YTD: 103.45 yds

Fabric added this week: 0 yds

Fabric added YTD: 110.69 yds

Net fabric busted: -7.24 yds

 I really wanted that Net fabric used to be in the positives. I know, there’s always next week. I do need to make a backing and binding for a baby quilt that needs to be done soon. See you later!

    When it is hot, you do what your body tells to you to do – whether it is sewing, reading or sleeping. i find that I am sleeping more when I have been out in the heat. The body will tell ya….at least that’s what i tell my brain!

    You still managed to use some yardage, so that’s great!
